Attending AGM creates better
communication between management and shareholders, it is important for
management to conduct AGM at a proper place with appropriate dates as maximum
shareholders can avail its benefits.
Sometimes before investing any
large sum of money into companies it is advisable to attend the AGM, meet the
management and other fellow shareholders to understand the company in a better
way.
BSE has more than 3900 scrips
available to trade, for time being I
have complied a list of location of AGM of nifty 500 companies (Excel
download link at the bottom.)
This year
most of the companies are having an online AGM, before also it was mandatory
for top 100 companies to broadcast live proceedings of AGM, now due to
circumstances this year the trend of online AGM will start.
For investors
interested to attend AGM physically this list may be useful from next year
onwards!
It is interesting to know that out
of these 500 odd companies around 300 companies conduct their AGM in 5 cities
namely Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Chennai.

Conclusion:
As roaming and travelling all
over India is not possible for everybody.
This list aims to create and
encourage active participation among minority and retail participants to
participate in AGM’s as per their locality and convenience.
Anyone can use this list for
their study or record!
(note-I have not mentioned dates
and exact venue of the AGM’s as they change as per the availability of venue
and other factors)
